Wired Magazine screwed up on their caption. That is a chiller room, not a server room. The pipes are carrying chilled water to the CAHUs (Computer Air Handling Units) where it is used to cool the air that is distributed under the floor of the server rooms.
The minor party candidates will get their chance to tell you about their ideas. On October 22nd Larry King will moderate a debate among the four third party candidates.
The former CNN giant will guide next Tuesday’s debate in Chicago, which will be broadcast on the Internet. The candidates taking part are the Libertarian Party’s Gary Johnson, the Green Party’s Jill Stein, the Constitution Party’s Virgil Goode and the Justice Party’s Rocky Anderson.
This is an opportunity to listen to ideas that the Democrats and Republicans need to be addressing.
“Oh, I see youve taken up jogging! Finally smartened up and realised that its better than walking, eh? And look, youre pretty good at it! Before you know it, youll be jogging to work with a change of clothing strapped to your back – youll see how much faster it is than walking and how much more control it gives you!”
I just find this hilarious for some reason.
I found this on Craigslist and it intrigues me. This is the way I think a small child should get introduced to being doubled on a bike with an adult.
GoPro has introduced their next generation line of cameras and I think it’s about time I took the plunge. WiFi is now built into every camera they sell and they are smaller, lighter and faster.
So what’s new? The top model, the HERO3 Black Edition, is 30 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter than the HERO2 with a $399.99 price tag. Its image processor is twice as fast, and the camera can capture 4k video at 15 frames per second, 2.7k video at 30 frames per second.
It’s three times as fast at photo capture and can do up to 12 megapixels for still photos with burst shots of 30 frames per second. “It’s actually almost too fast,” Woodman said.
Wi-fi is now built into every GoPro from the top-end model on all the way to the HERO3 “White Edition,” which Woodman says to basically think of as a souped up HERO1. There’s a middle-range offering, called the “Silver Edition”, which is basically like a HERO2 plus Wi-fi.
Yeah, I’m really liking the looks of this and the price point is just about where I could afford two, one to look forward on my bike and one to look backward.
