Just what do you consider the initial use of force?
February 15th, 2002 by Larry Burton
Well, it seems that the folks at the Center for the Moral Defense of Capitalism believe that force is only force when it is the government using it. Are they trying to tell me that all the legal manuevering used over the years against companies that couldn’t afford the litigation does not constitute an initial use of force? That’s a pet peeve of mine against most objectivist that I’ve met. They only want to use their own dictionary when defining the term “initial use of force.”
