Electoral College Graph

You may have noticed the Electoral College graphic in my sidebar. It updates with every update on Electoral-Vote.com updates their site. I really like that site in that it puts the polls we hear about into proper perspective. It is the states that elect the president in this country, not the individuals.

Today I found another part of the website, the Electoral College Graph, that shows some interesting trends. The most interesting part is that when Farenheit 9/11 opened Kerry lost electoral votes with Bush gaining none during that same time period.

What does that mean? I have no idea.

I’d imagine it means a state or two went from ‘leaning Kerry’ to ‘too close to call.’

Heh, yeah, I figured that. What I don’t know is whether that downturn was a result of people rejecting Moore’s attempt to win their hearts with his film or if the polls are being reported a week after their actual taking delayed the reaction to the film.
