Valentine’s Day Rehash
I bought my wife a pair of heart shaped mystic smokey topaz earrings and got her a card and slipped them onto her dresser while she was in the shower yesterday morning. She seemed to like them. I took her to the Lil River Grill last night for dinner. She seemed to like that also. Then we went home, took off our clothes and went to bed. She seemed to like that as well.
Valentines Day is a stupid holiday and greeting cards are a waste of money but I woke up happy this morning so I can’t complain about it too much. I guess I ought to buy her flowers next week and take her out to Chilies and see if I wake up the next morning just as happy. My guess is I’ll be happier doing stuff like that on random dates occuring at fairly frequent intervals than just doing stuff like that on Valentines Day, our Anniversary and her birthday.
