Those “Bush Tapes” that every one is talking about give us an indication that things never got as bad as they could have gotten in that first term.
Private telephone conversations with George W. Bush secretly taped by an old friend who used to live in Springfield show the future president once considered John Ashcroft to be a potential U.S. Supreme Court justice.
I just want to make sure some friends of mine understand that.

The good news is that I’m going to be incredibly productive in the next few days.
The bad news is that that’s because working will beat waking up every few with the cold sweats and staring at the ceiling for hours while I try to go back to sleep.
Heh, after reading that I had several horrible scenarios run through my head. One of them was you and me in prison with you smacking me and shouting, “I told you so, I told you so.”
