Commercial space travel
Burt Rutan may have been the private concern to launch a man into space but Aera Corp intends to be the first private concern to put paying customers into space. They plan to do this by next year (2006), one upping Virgin Galactic, which is using the Rutan design for their fleet, who won’t be ready until 2007. Sometimes being first isn’t always the best.
