A couple of days.
The last two days have been interesting. Tuesday I had a meeting in Augusta, Georgia with a very good customer of ours. Augusta is 160 miles away. My whole purpose for being at the meeting was as a technical resource to answer questions that might POP up. A few did but for the most part I spent the day listening to the planning of a project start up that I won’t be directly involved in. It wasn’t completely uninteresting but it was a bit of a struggle to maintain an alert posture. What did make the day interesting was that most of the input I had in the meeting had little to do with what I was brought up there to provide.
Yesterday was a satisfying day. I had to drive to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a 9:00AM court hearing. This goes back to a lawsuit I chronicled here a few months ago. Luckily everything was in place and the trial concluded in an order for Ms Simmons to repay my insurance company for the damages my son and I incurred. This second time Ms Simmons told a completely different story than she told the first. She holds a CDL so my insurance company should get their money.
Anyway, two days worth of driving wore me out. It also got me behind in my work here in the office. Gotta get my head back down. ![]()
