Remember a few days ago when I told you about going to court? I thought things were finally settled. They weren’t. This morning I learned that Ms Simmons has decided to appeal the sessions court decision to circuit court and will probably want a jury trial. This after dropping my truck off this morning to have a water pump replaced. Sheesh!

Drat, indeed. It looks more and more like a war of attrition on her part. Infuriating, unfair, and very wasteful of court resources meant for more than petty inability to admit fault.
Any time frame on when this might come up?
Felix, right now I have no idea when this might get around to trial. I know that I had to give him an answer pretty fast on whether or not I wanted a jury trial, I don’t, but how soon before it goes before a judge is anyone’s guess.
My wife, the insurance adjuster, says that if it was her case she would have just agreed to drop claims against her if she would agree to drop claims against us, but that is merely her making a business decision. Out of principle I want her to pay what she owes.
