Two Offers
Two job offers came in this morning about thirty minutes apart. I’ve spent the bulk of the day trying to talk myself out of the job I wanted to take and into the other job. Either I wasn’t playing devil’s advocate to the best of my abilities or the job I wanted is the right job to take.
Beginning next Monday, barring some fubar with a DOT drug test (I haven’t touched drugs in thirty years) I will be employed by Pipeline Controls and Services as their controls engineer. This looks to be a challanging job with a young, growing company. I’ve never worked in the pipeline industry before and that was part of the lure.
I just wanted to update you on that and also I want to thank those of you who have kept me in your prayers. Your faith means more to me than you could know. Yes, even your’s, WK.

I’ve never doubted your willingness to accept my prayers.
On another note, WooT the job! Here’s to a re-employed Justin Tyme and many happy days to come:-D

Woot, as WK said. It is significant that only a couple of weeks after parting with your former employer, you have an offer for a job you find interesting and worthwhile-you didn’t have to settle. That speaks volumes for the quality of your work experience and your resume’, as well as for the sound judgement of your new employers.
Congratulations to you, and to Pipeline Controls and Services for acquiring an outstanding man for their company.

I hope it’s at least as rewarding for you as I’m sure it’s going to be for them!
