Perhaps I’ll get it right this time.

Things didn’t work out too well at Pipeline Contols and Services. Small companies need people with very broad skill sets. Mine didn’t stretch far enough.

I learned a few things the short time I was there and got the opportunity to work with some very good people. I wish them well. I’ll miss them.

I start Monday morning working for Technical Associates, a company that had offered me a job the same day that Pipeline Controls and Services did. As I understand it I will be working onsite for a customer in Forest Park making household chemicals.

    Small companies are a whole nother breed. I hope this works better for you.

    (Small, privately owned companies are even more different… and working for one is very dependant on the owner’s business philosophy.)

    Oh, I just looked at your new company. Nothing open now, but apparently they also do site acquisition services. If they ever start looking for someone to do that, let me know.

    I’ll check on that for you, Cat. They are looking for someone for something all the time. I’ll see if they think they’ll need anyone for site acquisition any time soon.
