New Looks
For over two years I’ve been using the same theme with this website. I would occasionally change the banner but I was really happy with the look and function of the site. That was until this past week. In a three day span I randomly came across four other sites using the same theme. That won’t do. I don’t think this theme will either but it will do for now.
It’s been too long since I sat down to design a website anyway. This might be something to keep me busy for a little while.

Simply Grey Lily? Nice look.
I opted some time ago for a very stripped-down look, Fluid Blue, which has lots of text room which is what interests me.
I have been wrestling with updating my WP pages to 2.6, got that done. Updated Gallery2. Done. Then tried to implement WPG2, got badly hung up. Something wrong with the paths, I think. Or something more. Like solving puzzles. I will get there.

Since the upgrade there are a few things you need to know that you aren’t told when upgrading WPG2. It has worn me out finding out what options I can’t use now. I’ll try to make up a list of what I had to do to get it working like it is now on my weblog. I’ve managed to break it while playing with stuff this weekend.
